What is counselling?

 

Counselling provides a space for you to talk about whatever’s on your mind. 

 

If you feel anxious, overwhelmed or stuck, it can help to discuss your feelings with a trained professional who will be able to listen to you without judgement. 

 

Counselling is confidential, which means you can talk freely about things you may feel uncomfortable discussing with people in your life. 

 

A psychotherapist or counsellor is there to listen and help you untangle what is really going on – what is at the root of what’s troubling you. Counselling offers you the chance to feel more in control of your life.
